There’s something special about being recognized by your peers. The AGC Build Tennessee Awards highlight some of the very best projects and people in Middle Tennessee construction. Projects are reviewed and judged by AGC members from other states and evaluated on safety, excellence in project management, client service, innovation, and sensitivity to the surrounding environment and community.
We’re honored to share we received awards for three projects this year, and even more grateful for the teams and customers who made them possible.
EMF – Award of Excellence
Engineering Comfort and Clarity at the K-LOVE Tennessee Campus
When EMF (Educational Media Foundation), home of K-LOVE, needed a space that supported creativity, clarity, and comfort, we knew the details would matter. Media production environments demand precise temperature control, thoughtful system design, and reliable performance, all without disrupting daily operations.
Our team approached the project with collaboration and innovation at the forefront. By leveraging detailed planning, coordination, and smart mechanical solutions, we helped create an environment where creativity can thrive and broadcasts can continue without interruption.
This project earned the Award of Excellence, recognizing not only the technical execution but also the care taken to meet the client’s unique operational needs.
Maury County Justice Center – Award of Merit
Powering Justice with Precision
Courthouses and justice centers aren’t just buildings, but rather, they’re pillars of the community. The Maury County Justice Center required complex electrical coordination to support secure operations, advanced systems, and long-term reliability.
From early planning through final delivery, our team focused on precision, safety, and collaboration with the general contractor and trade partners. Detailed coordination helped ensure systems were installed efficiently while meeting the high standards expected in a public facility.
Receiving the Award of Merit for this project reflects the strength of teamwork and a shared commitment to delivering dependable infrastructure for our communities.
BG – Award of Merit
Keeping Production Cool in Bowling Green, KY
When BG needed a chiller replacement to support its manufacturing operations, timing was everything. Production environments don’t pause, and mechanical upgrades must be carefully planned to help minimize disruption.
Our team developed a strategy to replace critical equipment while maintaining operations and protecting the facility’s productivity. Through detailed coordination, safety planning, and efficient installation, we delivered a solution designed for long-term performance and reliability.
This project also received an Award of Merit, highlighting excellence in project management and client service in an active industrial environment.
